About Rhonda.
Rhonda Brunson is a national speaker, co-founder of Waypoint Wellness HQ, and a nervous system performance coach specializing in breathwork, meditation, and sound-based practices for high-performing individuals and organizations.
Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Rhonda relocated to Texas in 2001, where she continued her career in education as a French teacher in the public school system. After seven years, she transitioned into entrepreneurship, building a successful photography business that took her across the United States. Through her work, she developed a reputation for capturing not only images, but meaningful human stories centered on courage, resilience, and self-worth.
In 2015, a personal photography project evolved into the founding of the Choose Courage Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness around domestic abuse. As CEO for a decade, Rhonda led national efforts to break the stigma and silence surrounding abuse by amplifying the voices and stories of survivors. Her leadership in this space deepened her understanding of human behavior, trauma, and the importance of creating environments rooted in safety and empowerment.
This work, combined with her own personal journey, led Rhonda to expand into the field of nervous system regulation. Today, she integrates science-backed breathwork, meditation, and somatic practices to help individuals and organizations manage stress, build resilience, and perform at a higher level, without burnout. Her approach bridges performance and well-being, equipping leaders and teams with practical tools to operate with clarity, presence, and sustained energy.
Rhonda is based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and works with organizations nationwide, delivering keynotes, workshops, and performance-focused experiences that support sustainable leadership, resilience, and high-level execution.
